About Me
Hi, I’m Ben — the heart, hands, and occasional splinter behind Second Chance Creations. After years working in the retail industry as a store manager and a lot of “what ifs,” I decided to take a second shot at doing what I’ve always loved: working with my hands, building things that matter, and chasing the dream my dad never got the chance to. What started as a hobby in my basement has turned into something a little bigger — a full-on passion project (with a little help from my kids, my brilliant girlfriend, and a dog named Loki who thinks he's the shop manager).
I work with everything from reclaimed wood and antique furniture to fresh lumber and DIY ideas, creating custom decor and one-of-a-kind pieces with purpose, character, and a story to tell.
This isn’t just a business — it’s a second chance. For the materials, and for me.
